A Teachers' Grammar: The Central Problems of English

By: R.A. Close

I studied Phonetics and Second Language Acquistion and this book really helped me out a lot.
Not only that, I taught English in Japan and this book had really good points to go over with my students.

I must admit, it leans a lot toward British English, but as long as you understand the differences, it’s a great resource book.

For those who are thinking about teaching English abroad, it’s a great book to better the quality of your lessons.
